Installation of the Ultra Urban Filter (click on each thumbnail for high resolution photo) This particular unit absorbed approx 5 gallons of Hydraulic fluid in a spill. The UUF prevented the oil from entering a catch basin thus saving it from entering the storm system.

These Ultra Urban Filters were Antimicrobial units designed to
filter out bacteria's as well as oils, grease, sediment and
hydro carbons. The picture with the sediment dumped out shows
that it collected 40 lbs of sediment in 2 months. The sediment
runoff came from the nearby baseball diamond.
